In December, Portland's median home listing price fell to $501,263, with a 17.9% decrease in listings compared to the previous month. Despite this, the price per square foot rose by 1.1%, contrasting with a national decrease of 0.9%. There were 1,934 homes for sale, a 17.9% drop from November but a 14.4% increase from last year. Homes took an average of 86 days to sell, 16 days longer than the previous month and 21 days longer than last year, while the national average was 70 days.
